Thank you so much for your reply.

I suppose workshop was the wrong word to use. It is a development kind of setting and quite relaxed. Although the leader (for lack of a better description) suggested that perhaps I was holding back some emotions from not so good experiences in my life (I'm in my 50's) or that I'm allowing too much negative energy into my "space".

I would like to say that throughout my life, but mostly adulthood, I have been spiritual and also what I call spirit sensitive and I have indeed seen and felt and talked with spirits of others who have passed on. I have been very particular about who I let "in" because if I feel uncomfortable, I've always blocked it. As such I've only allowed a limited amount in, and those are ones that I have a direct connection to or whose family I have some kind of connection to.

However, over the past year or so, I've had a strong desire to learn more and open myself up to exploring my spirituality including any mediumship tendencies I may have.

I've been learning to meditate and this seems to help. I realize that I have a lot to learn and with all the material available out there, it's quite mind boggling.

I appreciate your thoughts and suggestions and will take all into consideration.

Wishing you all the best,
Simone
