Dear Genevieve

Thanks you for your question, which is one which presents difficulties because of limitations to facts and the situation you describe.

I have deliberated about this question; though my conclusion can only be a general reply. Either your imagination is playing tricks, or it is a spiritual situation. The problem may occur, at the moment you returned from the ‘State of Sleep’, from the ‘Landscape of Dreams’, and the moment of re-adjustment of the spiritual and physical. If one’s mind is cluttered with fear or anxiety about the interaction of spiritual matters, your thoughts will be well taken from the reality of light, into the shadows of doubt and fear. Unfortunately nowadays there is so much nonsense and rubbish uttered by the paranormal fraternity. No wonder there are so many people with difficulty seeing through the mists of gloom and into the realisation of eternal light.

My concern is why should you hold so much fear? The situation with you parents passing-over may be a reaction to grief. However if this was the case, you need counselling and not a reply in writing, though this is for your contemplation alone… It is difficult to understand why so many people draw upon a negative solution, rather than a positive one. Those who have moved beyond the parameters of this world are in light, not darkness. The only thing that resonates through your words – to me is fear. Take away fear with knowledge and light, open the door of the mind, to illume and take you forward.

I note with interest your descriptive terminology of the Carmelite Monk. I understand you mean the ‘Roman Catholic Order of the Brothers of Our Lady of Mount Carmel’, from the 12th Century, on Mount Carme, near Haifa in Israel. With your description so clear about this ‘Order of Monks’, I am surprised you have fear at all.

In my opinion, this is all indicative of a dream, and your subconscious mind. The answer is simple - gain spiritual awareness and understanding and let the shadows of doubt move away. Why would someone from the next dimension wish you harm – they wouldn’t. Why would a loved-one wish you harm – again they wouldn’t, because neither fits within the natural interaction of the two-worlds. Perhaps you have read too many horror stories, or watched films, where the objective is entertainment and money, not light and peace.

On a final point you make about the dream of your mother. If this is the case, then I would suggest you look at the good points of the memory of dreams, not the negative. Conceivably, the contact was positive. Take fear and doubt away and realise that you have glimpsed through the setting of dream, into the reality of eternal life.

Wishing you attain spiritual knowledge, light and peace

Stephen
