In general, I don’t answer anonymous questions, taking the view even a pseudonym is better than nothing at all. Nonetheless, there are a few points which may help people who look at the content of the answers. As such, it is to them I give my reply.

Obviously, I do not know the person referred to within the question. However, I am perplexed at the words which appear to point to something a person may have said. The phraseology used alludes to more knowledge of this subject than expressed in your request for information. Nonetheless, I am taking a step back to look at why the mention of a ‘dark spirit’. For some, there is a desire to think something dark could at the very least mean something to fear. Why, one asks, do people get drawn to darkness which only dwells inside the people with little knowledge, for what is spirituality is enlightened? Even so, perhaps this analogy may help? If your eyesight were impaired, you would not see clearly, your sight might be impaired, shadowy, or blurred. However, if you go to the optician, you may find you require spectacles to improve your sight. Once your vision has been prescribed, your ability to see becomes clear; there is no darkness, or shadows, because you have regained ‘clear sight’. Spiritual awareness and understanding frees everyone from the gloom of doubt, through enlightenment and knowledge.

These are my thoughts. I give them to you through misgivings because the choice of words you apply infers your appreciation of the whole subject is more than you allude to. So my conclusion: think of darkness and shadows, and you hold yourself back in the lowlands of ignorance and doubt. Open up to light, and you will embrace all that is good, peaceful and of the highest, through spiritual brotherhood and attunement to divinity.
