The thought had been lingering in my mind for a while...
And suddenly as I passed in front of Fernando's stand on Lopez Mateos, I had the first clear vision of my Christmas gift to myself this year: I saw one short strand of stones from the south of Mexico, mostly from Puebla, Chiapas and Veracruz, that I could not live without any more. I asked Fernando to find me 3 other similar strands.
I brought the 4 strands to a jewelry store where I purchased beads made of Mexican silver to insert between the stones and we mounted the whole thing as one long necklace.

The orange stones are Carnelian.
Light Green: Adventurine.
Brown: Tiger's Eye.
Dark Green: Agathe.

Christmas gift to myself). Isn't it beautiful?
