Special Events in the USA & Canada
The Indiana Association of Spiritualists (founded in 1886) will host their 14th Annual Spirit Fest on September 17 and 18 on the grounds of Historic Camp Chesterfield.
Starting at 10 am each day, Spirit Fest will host a variety of activities for visitors to enjoy on Camp Chesterfield’s healing and spiritually uplifting grounds. Visitors may peruse the dozens of displays throughout Camp Chesterfield, which feature vendors specializing in photography, crystals, gems, stones, spiritual books and art, clothing and many more spiritually-related gifts and artifacts.
A number of psychics and mediums will be on hand to give readings in the Maxon Fellowship Center, as well as spirit artists, and an array of body workers offering a variety of healing techniques such as Light Massage, Reiki, Drumming, and Chakra alignment. Again this year “Kidsville” will feature fun and games for children of all ages, including face painting, pony rides (Saturday only), a Native American-themed craft area and child fingerprinting (provided by local law enforcement on Saturday).
In addition to our regular activities, this year we have added two very exciting attractions that will bring some extra special energy for our Spirit Fest visitors to enjoy. We are delighted to feature the Mitchell-Hedges Crystal Skull right here on our grounds. The other attraction is an authentic Native American Experience throughout the weekend!
Throughout this two-day event, a series of free lectures will be given by invited speakers on topics ranging from Angels, Tai Chi, Spirit Guides, Astrology, Reflexology, Spiritualism, Healing with Color, and Chakra Balancing. Visitors can also register to win one of two Amazon Kindle Fires!
