In Response To: Sensing a message vs. imagining one (Confused)

Most people seem to have experienced the same confusion when they started studying mediumship. My personal test to differentiate the two, in case it works for you, is the following: Because spirits communicate by thought instead of by language, communication is immediate. So, the very first thing that comes to my mind, BEFORE my imagination has the time to kick in, is a communication from Spirit. I have been using this test since 2003 and it works well for me.

If nothing comes right away, if there is a delay, it means that communication is not working at that moment; but because you WANT to receive a message at that moment (mostly if you are in training, or in front of a group, or if you have a pressing question), it is an ideal situation for your imagination to kick in.

I hope it helps.
